Birthday Trip to Dubai
Earlier this month I celebrated my 30th birthday by taking a trip to Dubai. My boyfriend and I flew into Abu Dhabi (yes, I did get the infamous flare glitch that happened on Christmas day of 2014) and took a bus for 1.5 hours into Dubai. While I was there I went on an awesome Desert Safari Tour with Platinum Heritage. They picked us up from our hotel, took us out to the desert and we hopped in this sick Land Rover...
They also gave everyone on the tour burkas to wear. After some time of cruising through the desert we stopped for some refreshments and a falcon show followed by a night full of dancing, camelback riding, hookah and tons of delicious food.
But this wasn't the highlight of my trip. It was getting a taste of all of the adventures Dubai has to offer from swimming with dolphins at Aquaventure, spending hours shopping in the Dubai Mall, the romantic bars and lounges, brunch at Saffron (pricy but worth it), the world renown landmarks and interacting with beautiful people in a multi-culture city!
