CATSKILLS: THE PERFECT FALL GETAWAY

My wife and I recently celebrated our 3-year wedding anniversary in The Catskills, Upstate New York. This was my first time doing this kind of trip in the woods, but I’m definitely game for more! I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would, as I’m typically a big city or tropical/beach type of person. But photos don’t do the beauty of it justice. The colors and views at every turn were CRAZY, the air was CRISP, and it was just good to get away from people for a minute. Can I get a witness my fellow social introverts?!
The full kitchen allowed us to cook meals and the floor-to-ceiling windows let us enjoy the views from the couch when we wanted to. If you’ve never done a home rental before, don’t sleep on it. It’s a great option especially for groups, or a more homely environment, or a more cost-effective option than hotels in big cities... or places like the middle of the boonies like this where there aren’t hotels Upstate New York in the Fall... is our new thing! I also hear Vermont and Maine should be on my list? Anybody been and have recommendations?
